Piggies in the Blanket

Two weeks ago, I had to bring breakfast to work; we have Breakfast Thursdays with in our group, pigs in the blanket were the first thing came to my mind. Perfect finger food for breakfast, this was my first time making it with mini sausages, mini size is much cuter for appetizer or feeding a big group for breakfast.

Ingredients:
Mini pork or beef sausages
1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Directions:
1.    Preheat oven according to directions on crescent roll package.
2.   Separate dough into triangles. Cut into small triangles to fit the mini sausage and wrap small triangle dough around each mini sausage.
3.   Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 – 18 minutes or until golden brown. And ready to serve.

These are the only 2 ingredients you need to make this fun appetizer for kids and adults.

This is how the dough looks like when you separate from the package.

Cut into small triangles.

Voila….the piggy is in the blanket.

I made 50 little piggies that day!

The finished product!

Until next time…Peace Out!
