I know I know…I’m a little late with this post, but better late than never.
San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival was on April 9 &10, 16 &17. Due to the unfortunate disaster happened in Japan, we decided to show some support to the Japanese community.
There were many food vendors; of course food is first on my list, great music, games of the children, arts and crafts vendors, and cars (Chris’ favorite).
What touched my heart the most was the Japanese tight bonding.

We tried some authentic Japanese for the first time.
Takoyaki – Fish cake tempura ball

Okonomiyaki – Japanese savory pancake

Musubi – rice and seaweed chunks
They were super duper yummy!!!
Definitely check out the Cherry Blossom Festival. You never know who you might run into…maybe a beautiful Geisha.
